Whole-boat charter rates, 2027
| Package | 1–8 guests | 9–16 guests | 17–24 guests |

| 2D1N | USD 7,600 | USD 8,500 | USD 9,500 |
| 3D2N | USD 8,500 | USD 9,500 | USD 10,400 |
| 4D3N | USD 12,800 | USD 14,200 | USD 15,600 |

| 6D5N | USD 21,400 | USD 23,700 | USD 26,000 |
| 7D6N | USD 25,600 | USD 28,400 | USD 31,200 |
Whole-boat prices, not per person. A full-day charter starts at USD 5,400; the published entry point for an overnight charter is USD 7,600 per night (about IDR 128,500,000 at the rate used on the operator’s Indonesian listing).
Where the tier structure works in your favour
Charter pricing in Komodo is usually quoted per night with no regard for group size, which punishes small groups. Naturalia’s published structure is banded instead, and the bands are wide. Nine guests and sixteen guests pay the same number. Seventeen and twenty-four pay the same number. If your group sits just above a band edge, adding people costs nothing extra for the boat.
| Group size | 3D2N charter total | Cost per person |
|---|---|---|
| 8 guests | USD 8,500 | about USD 1,063 |
| 12 guests | USD 9,500 | about USD 792 |
| 16 guests | USD 9,500 | about USD 594 |
| 20 guests | USD 10,400 | about USD 520 |
| 24 guests | USD 10,400 | about USD 433 |
Per-person figures are simple division of the published charter total, before park fees. They are shown so you can compare a charter honestly against per-cabin rates.
The comparison that matters: at 24 guests, a private 3D2N charter works out near USD 433 per person — below every one of Naturalia’s own per-cabin rates, which start at USD 450. You are getting the boat to yourselves for less than the price of a cabin on a shared departure.

The cabin plan you are buying
| Cabin | Deck | Beds | Max pax | Notable feature | 2 Persons | 3 Persons | 4 Persons | Additional |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sandal | Main | 1 king + 1 single | 3 | Private balcony, bathtub, sea view | USD 850 | – | – | USD 370 |
| Azure | Upper | 1 queen | 2 | Private balcony, bathtub, sea view | USD 770 | – | – | – |
| Coral | Upper | 1 queen + 1 single | 3 | Shared balcony, sea view | USD 750 | – | – | USD 370 |
| Aurea | Main | 2 queens | 4 | Private balcony with jacuzzi | USD 850 | USD 590 | USD 480 | – |
| Breeze | Upper | 2 queens | 4 | Shared balcony, sea view | USD 750 | USD 550 | USD 460 | – |
| Tide | Lower | 1 double + 2 singles | 4 | Porthole view, two bathrooms | USD 550 | USD 490 | USD 460 | – |
| Lagoon 1 | Lower | 1 double | 2 | Porthole view | USD 450 | – | – | – |
| Lagoon 2 | Lower | 1 double | 2 | Porthole view | USD 450 | – | – | – |
Tide is also bookable as a sharing cabin: USD 490 per person on the double bed, USD 470 per person on a single bed. Eight cabins, 24 berths in total. Rates are per person, cabin-dependent, for a shared (open-trip) 3D2N departure.
For a charter the allocation question is usually how to seat a mixed group. Breeze, Aurea and Tide each take four, which absorbs two families quickly. Azure and the two Lagoon cabins are the couple cabins. Sandal and Coral take three, which is the awkward number most boats handle badly and this one does not.
What you can and cannot change
| Element | Adjustable on a private charter? | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Route and anchorage order | Yes | Within tide, distance and park regulation |
| Wake-up and departure times | Yes | The main reason groups charter — you own the Padar sunrise slot |
| Menu and dietary requirements | Yes | Halal, vegetarian, allergy; confirm at booking, not on the day |
| Trekking-to-water balance | Yes | Some groups drop Rinca entirely and add snorkel stops |
| Celebration set-ups on the dining deck | Yes | Birthdays, anniversaries, proposals |
| Drone and camera coverage | Included | Drone, GoPro and mirrorless documentation is in the fare |
| Ranger escort on Komodo and Rinca | No | Mandatory under park rules |
| Park entrance fees | No | Fixed by PP 36/2024, paid separately |
| Weather routing | No | The captain’s call, always |
Groups that charter almost always use the same two freedoms: they move the Padar wake-up to suit themselves, and they cut or extend the trekking. Everything else tends to stay as published, because the published route is built around tide and light rather than around convenience.

Deposit, balance and cancellation
Terms are published and applied consistently. A 50% deposit confirms the dates. The remaining 50% falls due 30 days before departure. If you book inside that 30-day window, the charter is settled in full at confirmation. The deposit is non-refundable if you cancel, which is the standard position for a vessel taken off open sale for your dates. Ask for the terms in writing with your quotation, and read the weather clause — itinerary changes for safety are at the captain’s discretion on every boat in the park, ours included.
Costs sitting outside the charter fee

|---|---|---|
| Park entrance, per person (PP 36/2024) | USD 40-50 | USD 20-25 |
| Trekking, wildlife observation, snorkelling | Included in the entrance tariff | Not itemised separately in the official source |
| Ranger and local retribution collected on site | Operator-collected, varies by island and group size | |
| Drone permit | USD 135, apply at least 7 days before departure | |
Best for
Best for: family groups of 10–24 travelling together; milestone celebrations and small weddings; corporate retreats that need a private space rather than a hotel ballroom; photographers and film crews who need the schedule to bend around light rather than around other guests. Not the best value if: you are two people — at USD 8,500 for 3D2N, a couple is better served by Azure at USD 770 per person on a shared departure. If you want to compare the whole-boat option against other hulls in the same class, the operator’s luxury cruise collection collection lists them with rates.

Frequently asked questions
What does it cost to charter Naturalia privately?
From USD 5,400 for a full day, or USD 7,600 per night. The published tiers are Full Day at USD 5,400 / 5,800 / 6,300, 2D1N at USD 7,600 / 8,500 / 9,500, 3D2N at USD 8,500 / 9,500 / 10,400, 4D3N at USD 12,800 / 14,200 / 15,600, 5D4N at USD 17,100 / 18,900 / 20,800, 6D5N at USD 21,400 / 23,700 / 26,000 and 7D6N at USD 25,600 / 28,400 / 31,200, for 1-8, 9-16 and 17-24 guests respectively.
Is a private charter cheaper than booking every cabin separately?
Usually yes at the top end. Booking all eight cabins at published per-person rates totals well above the 17-24 guest charter tier of USD 10,400 for 3D2N. Charter also gives you the route and the schedule, which cabin bookings do not.
How many guests can we bring?
Twenty-four is the maximum, set by the eight-cabin plan: Breeze, Aurea and Tide take four each, Coral and Sandal take three, Azure, Lagoon 1 and Lagoon 2 take two.
What can we actually customise?
The route within the park, wake-up and departure times, the balance between trekking and water time, the meal plan including halal, vegetarian and allergy requirements, and celebration set-ups on the dining deck. What cannot be changed is park regulation, ranger-escort rules and the weather.
What is the deposit and payment schedule?
Fifty per cent on confirmation to hold the dates, the remaining fifty per cent 30 days before departure. Bookings made inside 30 days are settled in full at confirmation. The deposit is non-refundable if you cancel.
Are national park fees included in a charter?
No. Under PP 36/2024 entrance is USD 40-50 per foreign visitor and USD 20-25 for Indonesian visitors, plus ranger and local retribution collected on site. Drone permits are USD 135 and need seven days’ notice.
Can we charter for a wedding, birthday or corporate retreat?
Yes, and it is one of the more common reasons groups take the whole boat. The indoor lounge with mini bar and karaoke, the Panoramic Dining Deck and the open Serenity Deck give three separate gathering spaces, which is what makes a 20-person group workable on a 33.45 m hull.
How far ahead should we book a private charter?
For July and August, three to six months. For April-June and September-November, six to ten weeks is usually enough. For December-March the boat has more availability but the weather risk is higher, so build flexibility into your plan rather than into your budget.
Booking & enquiries
Charter dates are held on a first-deposit basis; peak-season weekends in July and August generally close three to six months out. Naturalia Cruise is operated and marketed by Komodo Luxury (part of Juara Holding Group, working in Labuan Bajo since 2015). Reservations, cabin availability and written quotations go through the Komodo Luxury reservations desk: WhatsApp +628113823875 or sales@komodoluxury.com. Payment terms are published and unchanged: 50% deposit to hold the date, balance due 30 days before departure, full payment if you book inside 30 days. The deposit is non-refundable on cancellation.
Where these numbers come from
Vessel dimensions, cabin layout, engine and generator data, charter tiers and cabin rates on this page are the figures published by the operator, IndonesiaJuara Trip, on its Naturalia charter listing. National park tariffs are taken from PP No. 36 Tahun 2024 as socialised by Balai Taman Nasional Komodo. Sunrise and sunset times are computed for Padar Island (8°39′S, 119°35′E) in WITA (UTC+8) and are accurate to about three minutes. Sailing times between anchorages are operational ranges, not fixed schedules — they move with tide, wind and ranger queues, and we write them as ranges for that reason. Rates are quoted for the 2027 season and were last reviewed on 1 August 2026; always confirm the current rate in writing before transferring a deposit.
