About Us

The Story of Naturalia Cruise

Naturalia Cruise left the shipyard in 2026 — which makes us the newest hull in these waters, not the oldest. We are not going to claim decades of history we don’t have. What we have instead is something rarer in Komodo: a phinisi designed from the first plank around how guests actually travel today, built by shipwrights who have been doing this their whole lives, and run by a crew drawn from operations that have sailed this park for more than ten years.

Built in 2026, Designed Around One Route

Most boats in Labuan Bajo are conversions — cargo phinisi refitted for tourism, or older liveaboards patched decade by decade. Naturalia is a 33-metre luxury phinisi purpose-built for the Labuan Bajo to Komodo National Park run. That decision shaped everything: eight air-conditioned cabins for a maximum of 24 guests, spread across four decks we named Aurea, Breeze, Sandal, and Tide; a dive deck sized for real dive operations rather than an afterthought; engine placement and insulation chosen so the boat stays quiet at anchor in Padar’s bay at 5 a.m., when it matters most.

Two Ways to Sail Her

We run Naturalia in two formats. On our open trip departures, you book by the cabin — 2D1N and 4D3N schedules — and share the ship with a small group of other travellers, divers and photographers among them. For families, dive groups, and celebrations, the whole vessel is available as a private charter in three tiers: 1–8, 9–16, or 17–24 guests. Same crew, same chef, same route flexibility; the difference is simply who is on board with you.

Diving Is the Point, Not a Side Activity

Komodo National Park holds some of the strongest, fishiest diving in Indonesia — Manta Point, Batu Bolong, Castle Rock on longer routes. Our itineraries are sequenced around tides and currents first, sightseeing second, because that ordering is what separates a good Komodo trip from a lucky one. Non-divers are genuinely welcome: the same currents that feed the reefs also make for remarkable snorkelling, and the Padar sunrise and dragon trekking legs of the trip need no tank at all.

Part of the Komodo Luxury Fleet

Naturalia Cruise is owned and operated as part of the Komodo Luxury fleet — a luxury yacht charter operator headquartered in Bali with its operational base in Labuan Bajo, more than ten years of experience in these waters, and a TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Award to show for it. That relationship is why a boat launched in 2026 sails with seasoned cruise directors, established provisioning, and safety systems refined across an entire fleet that includes the flagship Komodo Signature, Ayvara, and Malca. Official booking for Naturalia and every sister vessel runs through komodoluxury.com, with our team reachable on WhatsApp at +62 811-3823-875.

What We Promise

A new boat, an experienced operation, and honest information: 50% deposit with the balance due 14 days before departure, the IDR 650,000 per person park fee stated up front, and a straight answer about whether the season (April to November is the dry window) suits what you want to see. If Naturalia is not the right boat for your dates or group, the fleet almost certainly has one that is — and we will tell you so.
